Evolving at the frontline of the true underground electro scene, Dynamik Bass System are arguably amongst the most exciting and talented robotic crew of the last ten years. Despite a quite short but strong discography, DBS has definitively gained a worldwide reputation as a purist Electro band, creating its own recognizable musical identity made of inspired sonic old school beats, astounding vintage melodies with an up to date twist and inimitable vocoder voices.

Originally founded in 1990 as a one-man project by German producer Thomas Werner, DBS quickly reinforced with the arrival of known and unknown artists who shared the same devotion for 80’s Miami Bass and West Coast Electro Funk sounds.

Discovered by DJ Hell (International Deejay Gigolo Records) after a club performance in 1997, DBS signed its first release success, the ‘Arabian Dreams EP’, which became record of the month in numerous online/print magazines.

Since 2004, DBS has written numerous classics including two EP’s, ‘Don’t Stop Compute’ and ‘Robotmachine’ plus a handful of quality single and remix appearances on top labels such as Lone Records, Monotone U.S.A, Dominance Electricity, Bass Frequency Productions and DadeaBass/Back II Boom, to name a few.

Currently performing increasing numbers of live-gigs around the globe, DBS keeps on looking to the future with a nostalgic eye.
